Sanzoku no Musume Ronya LINE

They actually made Ronja ryövärintytär (Ronja rövardotter) anime! I was so excited when I heard that, because of I've been hardcore Ronja-fan since childhood. I was even more excited about the fact that Studio Ghibli made it!

I found some episodes online. I have to say the animation looked somehow a little too clinical to me. It was a little clumsy. And it's hard to get used to their Japanese intonation instead of Finnish/Swedish ones :'D Anyway, they catched the original characters' personalities surprisingly well. And it's nice that it's a series instead of single movie, there's more time to develop the atmosphere and focus also on the small things

All in all, it's really interesting to see an old story transformed to a new format. The most beautiful thing was the desing of ajattares (kind of demon birds) - way better than in 80's acted version!
